My Greatest Contribution

My Past Contribution:

One of my past contribution is my when I was chosen to make photo revisions on the University of the Philippines Centennial Book. It is one of my favorite job, because It was a lot of fun, I used to travel different places, meet different peoples and discover many different things.

My Present Contribution:

My present contribution is being a good and loving son to my parents. Because I'm not giving them problems, I always do what they ask me to do, even if it's sometimes late. I always make them happy and stress free. Being the only son is a hard but happy, because you are the only one who will make all the things for your family, for your parents and for yourself.

My Future Contribution:

My future plan and contributions are; First, is to be a successful and upright person, for the financial , emotional and spiritual needs of my family. Second, is to be a caring and loving husband to my wife, because i believe in the saying, "A happy wife is a happy life". And lastly to become the greatest father to my children, that enable to protect and give all the things that they need.

Educational Theories

My Ideal Teaching Approach

The learning theories that i think best suits the learners nowadays, is the combination of discussion method plus the experience, because the best way to teach a child is to let them experience the things that they want to learn or study.

The Experience method, like the theory of Montessori, she let the pupils experience the things that she wanted to teach them, because it will be retained longer in the child's memory rather that those who only seeks information from the books.

The Discussion method, is an oral method like question and answer method, has the maximum interaction between teacher and students/pupils. in the discussion method the pupils and the teacher has a relationship in terms of the lesson proper. It removes the boundaries or boarder between the two. It can provide the loss or elimination of the students that is afraid of the teachers. 

The Combination of the TWO

When the two theories are combined, it is the best way of teaching for me, because when you discuss the lesson to the pupils and ask them some questions and have some debate about the things that they did not understand well, you will let them experience that lesson so that it can eliminate the questions or the things that the pupils do not understand. the information that they will gather retains longer through the use of the experience method, and they will know actually the process of steps about that.

The Skills and Techniques that I Learned

There are a lot of things that I learned during my Practice Teaching (PT) mode. I experience the real life of a teacher, yung tipong gigising ng super aga tapos papasok ng before 6:30, grabe pagaadjust ko nun, kasi late ako lagi magising. Then gagawa ng mga visuals and lesson plan everyday for 3 - 5 subjects. Tapos naexperience ko din maghandle ng I think large class na ata yun, exhausting but the point is masaya ako sa ginagawa ko. 

I learned a lot of things lalo na before yung demo ko, na hindi madali maging guro, kasi kailangan na handa ka sa mga ituturo mo, kailangan mong aralin ng husto ang mga lessong na ituturo mo sa mga istudyante mo, because mabilis sila maka pick-up ng information, kaya kung may mali kang maituro or masabi, madali din yun maretain sa isip nila, that's why inaral ko ng todo ang lessons na ididiscuss ko sa kanila, nagprepare ako ng group activities, colorful PowerPoint presentations and individual activities for them.

Edi ganun nga, nagawa ko na lahat ng kailangan ko gawin for my demo, tapos natapos na yung demo ko, edi eto na yung mga panelists, sinabi nila sakin na "the teacher has the mastery of the subject matter", edi ansaya ko, tapos sinabi lang na iimprove ko lang daw yung lesson plan ko then encourage the other pupils to answer or participate in the other activities. Overall sobrang dami ko natutunan na skills, strategies, different teaching approaches and techniques. Ayun po tapos na!

Pag-ibig, Ito na marahil ang damdaming pinakapinag-uusapan. Sa mga umpukan, sa mga kwentuhan, di maiiwasang di ito mabanggit man lang. Ang sabi ng iba, pag-ibig daw kasi ang pinakamagandang madarama ng isang tao. Hindi ba’t pambenta ng maraming pelikula ang temang pag-ibig? Di lilipas ang isang buwan na walang naipapalabas na romantic movie, lokal man o Hollywood. Marami kasi sa mga tao ang gustong manood ng mga taong umiibig. Sa telebisyon, ganun din. Hindi nawawalan ng kwentong pag-iibigan ang mga teleserye, mula umaga hanggang gabi. Sa katunayan nyan, talagang tumatatak pa sa isip ng mga manonood ang pinapanood nila. 

Marami nang nabanggit na uri ng pag-ibig, nariyan ang infatuation (pakiramdam na idealistic o base sa pantasya lamang kumpara sa nararanasan talaga), romantic love (pag-ibig na ibinibigay sa isang taong nakararamdam ka ng pasyon, atraksyon, pag-aaruga at respeto), eros (pag-ibig na kadalasa’y may sexual involvement), companionate love (pagmamahal sa isang kaibigan na gustong-gusto mong makasama), unconditional love (pagmamahal sa isang tao kahit na gaano pa siya di kamahal-mahal) at conditional love (pag-ibig na may kondisyon).

Hygiene :)

Hygiene 

refers to conditions and practices that help to maintain health and prevent the spread of diseases. Medical hygiene therefore includes a specific set of practices associated with this preservation of health, for example environmental cleaning, sterilization of equipment, hand hygiene, water and sanitation and safe disposal of medical waste.

How to Maintain Good Hygiene

1. Shower daily. This is the best way to get rid of any dirt, sweat, and/or germs that your body may have accumulated throughout the day, and prevents hygiene-related diseases.^[1] As a plus, showering daily helps you feel, look, and smell your best throughout the day.

• Use a loofah, sponge, or hand towel to gently scrub your entire body, removing dead skin cells and dirt. Remember to replace these items regularly as they can easily harbor bacteria.
• If you don't want to wash your hair every day, then invest in a shower cap and wash your body with soap and water.
• If you don't have time to shower, then use a hand towel to rinse your face and underarms at the end of the day.

2. Choose a daily face cleanser. Remember that the skin on your face is more sensitive than on other parts of your body. You can either use your face cleanser in the shower or wash your face separately at the sink.

• Take your skin type into account when choosing a face cleaner. If you have very dry skin, avoid products that has high alcohol content, as this will further dry out your skin. If you have very sensitive skin, opt for hypo-allergenic products that contain less harsh chemicals.
• If you wear a lot of makeup, find a cleanser that also specializes in removing makeup. Otherwise, buy a separate makeup remover and remove all makeup before washing your face at the end of the day.

3. Brush your teeth every morning and evening. Regular tooth-brushing helps prevent gum disease, which has been linked to other illnesses elsewhere in the body like heart disease, stroke, and diabetes.^[2] It is especially important to brush teeth after eating sweets or acidic foods that cause tooth erosion.

• To keep your gums extra strong, carry around a travel-sized toothbrush and toothpaste and brush your teeth in between meals.
• Floss your teeth every night to prevent the gum disease gingivitis.

4. Wear deodorant. Antiperspirant helps control excessive sweat, while deodorant covers up unpleasant body odor caused by sweat. Consider using a natural, aluminum-free deodorant to reduce potential health risks associated with conventional deodorants.^[3]

• If you choose not to wear deodorant on a daily basis, then consider wearing it on the days when you plan on sweating excessively, or for special occasions. Apply deodorant before playing sports, going to the gym, or attending a formal occasion.
• If you don't wear deodorant, then rinse your underarms with soap and water throughout the day to remove unpleasant odor.

5. Wash your clothes after wearing them. In general, shirts should be washed after every use, while pants and shorts can be worn a few times before they require washing. Use your best judgment to determine how often to wash your clothes.

• Remove any stains from your clothing before wearing them.
• Iron out wrinkles, and use a lint-remover to remove unwanted lint and hair from clothing.

6. Trim your hair every 4-8 weeks. Whether you're trying to grow your hair out or prefer to keep it short, trimming it will keep hair healthy, get rid of split ends, and give an overall cleaner, healthier appearance.

7. Clip your fingernails and toenails regularly. Not only will this keep your hands and feet looking their best, it will prevent hangnails, breakage, and other potential damage to your nails. Short nails can't trap dirt under them the way long nails do. How often you clip your fingernails will depend on your personal desired length. To decide, take into account what you use your hands for on a daily basis. If you spend a lot of time typing on a computer or playing the piano, for example, short nails are probably the best option for you. If you prefer longer nails, that's fine too, but be sure to trim them every so often to prevent breakage.

• Use an orange stick to remove dirt from underneath the fingernails to prevent bacterial infections.

8. Wash your hands with soap and water. This is one of the most important ways to avoid getting sick and spreading germs to others.^[4] Wash your hands after using the restroom; before, during, and after preparing food; before eating food; before and after caring for someone who is sick; after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing; and after handling animals and/or animal waste.

• Consider keeping a hand sanitizer with you at all times in case you can't reach a bathroom to wash your hands.

9. Cover your nose and mouth when you cough or sneeze. This is extremely important if you want to avoid spreading germs to those around you. Be sure to wash your hands with soap and water after you cough or sneeze.

10. Don't share razors, towels, or makeup with other people. Sharing personal items like these with other people increases the likelihood of spreading Staph infections.^[5] If you do share towels or clothing, be sure to wash them both before and after lending them to others.

11. Keep up with doctor's visits. Seeing your doctor regularly can help catch illnesses and infections early, making it much easier to treat them. Visit your primary care physician, dentist, gynecologist, cardiologist, or any other physician you may be seeing (depending on your personal medical needs) on a regular basis. Visit your doctor when you are feeling sick or think you may have an infection, and be sure to keep up with routine check-ups.

THE FALLEN 44

The Philippine National Police (PNP) Special Action Force (SAF) had a mission in Maguindanao to arrest the most wanted terrorist in Asia, they were divided in groups while heading to their target location. the other group of policemen arrived on the hideout of the said terrorist Zulkifli Abdhir, they had an encounter there and the SAF members killed the terrorist.

On the other side of the location the other members of the PNP SAF was having an exchanges of fire with the BIFF and MILF.

Even if their mission was half accomplished due to the death of their target, it is a lot of loss for the PNP, because there are a lot of PNP SAF members who are killed during their mission.

The 44 Special Action Force commandos killed in the Maguindanao clash with Moro rebels will receive the Bravery Medal or the Medalya ng Katapangan, one of the highest recognition given by the Philippine National Police.

The medal, the PNP’s equivalent of the military’s Gold Cross, will be given to the slain SAF troopers as well as the wounded, said PNP spokesperson Chief Supt. Generoso Cerbo.

“This is usually given to policemen engaged in combat operations. But unlike the valor medal, this is purely an award; the benefits will be separate,” Cerbo said on Friday.

Ways to Love your Country "Philippines"

The best gift you could give your country is the gift of honesty, respect, concern, harmony, passion, kindness, dedication, discipline, unity, be a role model and most of all love your country. After all, it’s where you live.

Honesty, children should be honest to their parents, teachers, fellow students and to everyone. Honesty should start at home, nurture at school, and gained at peers.

Respect, respect is common to us Filipinos, we can show respect to the elderly just by saying "po" and "opo" whenever we talk to them, "pagmamano" when we arrive at home or before we live, or whenever we saw an elder. We should also respect other people or fellow students, for them to also respect you in return.

Concern, we should be concern to the issues of our country, even if it is big or small, because children like you can contribute even a little regarding those issues happening to our country.

Harmony, it is the key for a better living and collaboration with other people in your community, harmony should start at home, because a harmonious relationship results to better family.

Passion, it is like giving passion to your work, being passionate to your country gives better output and love for your country.

Dedication, it is like being passionate, dedication to your deeds to your country makes it more possible or likely to became real. More dedicated to work results to the best output possible.

Kindness, kindness is a key for a better personality, being kind to others can stop poverty and corruption to our country. A kind person has a perspective of letting other experience what he has, he share his knowledge, experiences, blessing or wealth to the needy and share the teachings of God.

Discipline, it is the key for being a good citizen of your country. Disciplined person follow orders, follow directions, and love their country by follow rules and regulations of the country and become a role model of other people. Like teachers, we are the role model of our pupils, so we should be the ones who are disciplined, for the pupils to follow us.

Unity, it is the key for being a good nation.
